Visions art museum in San Diego is hosting a contemporary quilt exhibit to feature seven artists and their exceptional textile art work. April 16th, 2016 through July 3rd is when you can view the these amazing contemporary quilts. Artists Liz Axford, Sue Benner, Judith Content, Patty Hawkins, Patricia Malarcher, Jan Myers-Newbury, and Kent Williams quilt artwork will be on exhibit. These seven artists have participated in numerous solo art shows, invitational exhibitions and juried competitions garnering accolades from around the world. Beginning in 1987, Quilt Visions has exhibited the most accomplished quilt artists in the world.
Meet the artists at the opening reception April 16th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Admission to the reception is $7, free admission for Visions Art Museum members. Light refreshments and wine will be served.
Visions Art Museum is located in the arts district of Liberty Station, 2825 Dewey Road, San Diego, California, USA. Museum hours are Tuesday — Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission to the exhibitions is $7, Visions Art Museum members enjoy free admission.
